Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-02

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Museum De Mobile (the "App") collects, how it is used, and what choices you have. The App is operated by [PLACEHOLDER: company name] ("we", "us").

Data we collect

Account data. When you sign in with Apple or Google we receive an identifier, your email address and, if you allow it, your name. Accounts are stored with Supabase.

Profile data. During onboarding you may tell us your country, how interested you are in art and how much you already know about it. This is used to tailor content.

Usage data. We use PostHog to understand which screens and features are used, so that we can improve the App. This includes device type, app version and anonymised interaction events.

Push notifications. If you enable notifications we store a device token provided by Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can deliver reminders about new riddles and articles.

Subscription status. Purchases are handled by Apple. We only store whether your subscription is active, never your payment details.

How we use your data

To create and secure your account, to show you riddles, articles and your gallery, to send notifications you opted in to, and to understand how the App is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share data with

Supabase (database and authentication), PostHog (product analytics), Google Firebase (push notifications) and Apple (sign-in and payments). Each of these providers processes data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account from the App settings; this removes your profile, gallery and answers. Analytics events are retained in aggregated form.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to stop processing it, by contacting us at [PLACEHOLDER: contact email]. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be announced in the App.
